You know you need a new phone…

Old broken Nokia phone with upside down display elements
… when the buttons on yours stop working properly and individual parts of the display flip upside down. Imagine my surprise when I turned my phone on and everything looked jumbled. After staring at it for a few minutes I realized that it wasn’t garbled; everything was where it should be, just upside down.

That wretched phone has since been replaced by a rather nice Motorola V220 camera phone. It’s not one of the absolute latest and greatest, but it’s a damn sight better than that old Nokia 3360, which I don’t think they even admit to making anymore. The best part? Nothing is upside down.

  • Intel Pentium M clocked at 2.0ghz
  • ATI Mobility Radeon 9700
  • 60 gig IBM/Hitachi Travelstar 7200rpm hard drive.
  • 1 gig of Mushkin 333mhz PC2700 RAM
  • Interchangeable 24X/24X/8X/24X DVD+CD-RW Combo

The part list is basically the same as I posted earlier, but here are the details.
