Obligatory Nintendogs Post
Time to jump on the Nintendogs bandwagon with Nintendogs commentary. I’ve been playing around with it for almost a week now. It’s like a more detailed virtual pet. Right now, I have a German Shepherd named VonBek, and he’s quite good at sitting, shaking, begging, lying down, performing backflips, and has recently developed quite an affinity for spinning in circles. His fur is clean and beautiful, and he places very well in competitions.
Naturally, the game’s primary means of control is with the stylus and touchscreen, and your dog will respond to you as you would expect a real dog to. The animation, graphical quality, and (expecially) voice interaction with your new pet are all very well done. If you have a DS and need something to goof off with here and there, I’d say give it a shot. You’ll also be pleased to note that although it comes in different versions, every breed is unlockable anyway.
