The Razer Diamondback mouse

After developing show-stopping problems with the mousewheel, the time has finally come for my Logitech MX500 to be put to rest. Logitech mice have served me well in the past, but I felt it was time for something new, and I’ve heard quite a bit about Razer’s Diamondback. I christened it with a couple rounds of the Battlefield 2 demo, and it’s a very fine mouse. Some say the mouse you use has no bearing on your in-game performance, but I think a more sensitive mouse makes a big difference. The MX500 is a very commendable mouse, but it has nothing on the smoothness and accuracy of the Diamondback. Combine the high-sensitivity with the ultra-slick feet and it’s like mousing on air. You know you need a new phone…

Old broken Nokia phone with upside down display elements
… when the buttons on yours stop working properly and individual parts of the display flip upside down. Imagine my surprise when I turned my phone on and everything looked jumbled. After staring at it for a few minutes I realized that it wasn’t garbled; everything was where it should be, just upside down.

That wretched phone has since been replaced by a rather nice Motorola V220 camera phone. It’s not one of the absolute latest and greatest, but it’s a damn sight better than that old Nokia 3360, which I don’t think they even admit to making anymore. The best part? Nothing is upside down.

Now I feel obligated to snap all sorts of pictures and have them sent here to the site.
